This Privacy Policy describes how Project Credo LLC ("Project Credo," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our websites, applications, MCP servers, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). It is incorporated into our Terms of Service .

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide.

Account details such as your name, username, email address, password, and profile photo.
Profile information from a sign-in provider (such as Google or Facebook) when you choose to sign in with that provider.
Content you post, including posts, comments, boards, sources, votes, and messages to us.
Payment-related information when you send or receive tips. Payments are processed by third-party providers such as PayPal, and we do not store full payment card or bank account numbers.

Information collected automatically.

Usage data such as pages viewed, features used, search queries, and interactions with content.
Device and log data such as IP address, browser type, operating system, and referring URLs.
Cookies and similar technologies used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure usage.

2. How We Use Information

To provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services.
To create and manage your account and authenticate you.
To process tips and other payments and to detect and prevent fraud.
To send notifications you have enabled and service-related communications.
To understand how the Services are used and to develop new features.
To enforce our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines and to protect the Services and our users.
To comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

Public content. Posts, comments, boards, your username, and profile information you choose to make public are visible to other users and may be visible to the public.
Service providers. We share information with vendors that help us operate the Services, such as hosting, payment processing (PayPal), error monitoring, and analytics providers. These providers may only use the information to perform services for us.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information to comply with law, respond to legal process, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Project Credo, our users, or others.
Business transfers. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
With your consent or at your direction.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Services are used. We use third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) that may set their own cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features of the Services may not function without them.

5. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for the purposes described in this policy. Different categories of data (for example, request logs, user content, backups, and system records) are retained and deleted on different schedules based on operational, security, and legal needs. Content you have posted may remain visible after account deletion where it has been shared, quoted, or incorporated into other users' boards.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices and Rights

You can update your account and profile information from your account settings.
You can manage email and in-app notification preferences from your notification settings.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, port, or restrict processing of your personal information. We will honor such requests as required by applicable law.

Account deletion

You can request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at the address below. We will verify the request came from the account holder before acting on it.

When your account is deleted:

Your profile, account details (including your name, email address, and profile photo), and any stored sign-in credentials are permanently deleted.
Posts, comments, and boards you created are removed from the Services. Where your content has been quoted, replied to, or added to another user's board, it may remain visible in that context with your identity removed, so that other users' discussions stay intact.
Tips you have sent or received are not reversed. Transaction records are retained by our payment processors and by us as required for accounting, tax, and fraud-prevention purposes.
We complete deletion within 30 days of verifying your request. Copies may persist in backups for up to 90 days after that before being overwritten.
We may retain limited information where required by law, to resolve disputes, to enforce our agreements, or to prevent a previously suspended or terminated user from creating a new account.

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

8. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. International Users

We operate in the United States. If you use the Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries that may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Services or by other means. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
