Policy research on reducing gun violence and mass shootings in the United States
Gun policy continues to be a misunderstood and often a misrepresented set of research due to the multiple factors for consideration. There is no single paper or way of examining the problem that solves for all outcomes. Geographical considerations and interstate/city interplay add to the complexity. And policy that reduces mass shootings may not have equal effect on gun violence at large.
In the board, we hope to shed light on the types of studies available broken out by methodologies and examined outcomes.
